The Forgotten Gift
by Oliver Guttorm

Imagine being born with perfect sight – experiencing your world clearly and vibrantly, knowing who and what surrounds you and what they mean to you. You don’t question the images, but enjoy every vibrant colour and subtle expression to its fullest.

Now imagine this sight being slowly taken away from you during the first years of life. It’s not sudden, so you are able to adapt to living in darkness – it’s a little scary but you learn to live with minimal knowledge, trusting only that which is right in front of you. You experience occasional teasing glimpses or flashes of sight, but no longer recognize or understand them and never quite know what it is that you saw or how to explain it.

Would you be interested if one day someone told you that you could actually regain your full ‘sight’? You could regain the natural, powerful, innate ability you were born with. All you would have to do is practice and then little by little, what was once just a glimpse or a quick flash will become clear, consistent, steady images of your life.

Now say that you decide to take up this challenge. You practice using your sight every day and step-by-step you really start seeing clear, strong images. The final key is to understand what you are receiving. Almost like a new language, you need a method to interpret the information to which you now have access. You may recognize the images and colours, but it would be a shame if you thought red was green and you accidentally ran a red light because you thought red meant “go”.

This analogy applies to almost everyone’s intuitive abilities. We were all born with powerful intuition – a true connection to the Universal knowledge, but as we grew up we were conditioned to not use it, whatever the reason.

However, just like any muscle or skill that has been neglected, it’s definitely possible to access it again. Just like driving a car after years of taking the bus, we can again be accustomed to being behind the driver’s seat again with a little practice every day. Isn’t that wonderful? Can you imagine the freedom you would experience without indecision? You would know with confidence whether or not to accept the promotion, or marriage proposal or invest in that property. You have access to the answers to all your questions – right inside of your own heart and mind.

It's not too late. It is NEVER too late. Your intuition only lies dormant and is waiting for you to reawaken it. What are you waiting for?
